How to Set Your Facebook Account Privacy

Setting privacy feature on Facebook gives you the freedom in determining how your presence viewed by your friends and other people.

Let's look at the various settings that can be done at the Account page. Account page you can access the Settings button. Then click the account settings in the column on Facebook. Account Settings are divided into several tabs, namely:

Settings tab

* Your real name. To change this, click change next to Name.
* The email address used by Facebook to communicate with you. To change, click Change next to Contact Email.
* Password you use to login to Facebook. To change this, click change next to the Password.
* Credit card information you used to buy or use the paid features on Facebook. To set it, click Manage next to Credit Cards.
* If you later want to disable Facebook account, click Deactivate. Although Facebook account disabled, you will not lose all the features and applications that you have previously set.

Networks Tab

On this tab, you can set your presence in a network. Remember, Facebook users divided into network to facilitate your search for friends in the same network. To follow and find a network, enter the network name you want. Then, click the Join Network.

Notifications tab

On this tab, you can set various warnings received via email from Facebook. It can improve your viewing pleasure, which has push email service, such as the BlackBerry to always get the latest information from Facebook. To enable a warning for your desired event, make sure the option in the ON field.

Mobile Tab

It serves to set the notification SMS from Facebook to a cell phone you use. SMS feature can be used only cell phone numbers from the U.S., Canada, or UK.

Language tab

It serves to set the language used by Facebook. To change the language, select one language from Primary Language options.
